I know I took offence when my mother commented that I was becoming very dependent on certain people in my life, but I re-examined myself and realised that she was right. I need to straighten my backbone: figuratively and literally.
Speaking of backbones, I'm getting sick of pain.
I feel like shoving my foot into the doctor's mouth the next time he says "Deal with it".
I don't want to live with this pain for the next say, 50 years of my life!
And I am so sick of having to "deal with it". I don't think it's logical that I have to live like a 50 year old when I'm less that half that age!
They keep saying the pain is not extreme enough and that I can still go about my daily life normally.
Seriously?
I can't do things that I'm passionate about. That's living life normally?
I still haven't gone bungee-jumping in NZ, I still haven't gone white water rafting with Ain, and I still haven't climbed mount ophir!
I don't understand why people can recover from slipped disc in 3 weeks and it's been 6 months for me!
Last night, I found a tiny lump on the left side of my lower back. My first thought was, "EW! Disgusting! A pimple!" And then I pressed on it, and it was hard. Like, bone hard.
I told my nurse-sister to see it. And she says it may be the slipped disc. Because it hurt deep inside, too.
But we all know the slipped disc is on the right side of my hip bone. . so . .
I think I'm being paranoid again. :(
