Tomorrow is Teacher's Day celebrations!
Yes yes, all the "We love you teachers!" shit.
It's amazing, isn't it, how much we appreciate teachers?
For one day, out of the 365 days in a year, we dedicate solely to the appreciation of teachers.
Just one day to show that we recognize their devotion and care towards us, while we make their lives hell for the other 364 days.
Of course, one day is better than nothing at all.
But because it comes only once a year, students tend to overdo it.
They thank even the teachers who are not worth thanking.
Why thank that horrible chem teacher who humiliated you in front of the whole class?
Why thank that boring lecturer who can never fails to put you to sleep?
Are they really worth your appreciation?
I have nothing against teachers, only that I never hope to become one.
But I strongly believe, that there are no bad students, only bad teachers.
So many times this year, I have heard the words, "If you fail, it's not my problem, it's yours."
And you call that dedication? Devotion?
Maybe times have changed.
Maybe I'm too traditionalistic for this modern concept of dedicated teaching.
But I do know, however, that whatever my view is on this, come tomorrow, I will still be among the throng clapping and cheering for the teachers.
I never did say I was against any form of celebration, did I?
Ahhh well...

Whilst I've been going around in my usual moody self,
I think I overlooked something.
Perhaps the stress has finally gotten to me.
I thought that I was just plain jinxed.
The lab printers seems to be cheating my money all the time.
When today, WOW I realised, I had actually LET them do that.
Initially, I thought nothing of the severely inflated price of printing documents in school.
BUt I always get suspicious of things trying to cheat me of my money when I'm broke.
Oh well, YES you are NOT supposed to double click the document you want to print.
You're supposed to double click those you do NOT want to print.
How brilliant.
90cents gone.
Now I can't even go home. x(
Oh and just a few minutes ago, I stood up, slung my bag, ready to go off to GP lecture.
(The one and only lecture that I truly enjoy)
I frowned at Syimah who was seated beside me, "Why aren't you going for GP lecture? There's lecture now, right?"
She gave me a puzzled look.
"GP lecture is at 11.15! It's only 10.45!"
I swear, it's the stress that robs my brain of the ability to think.
And yes. After sacrificing the whole bloody night to finish the Written Report, I forgot to ATTACH it on the email I sent out. -.-
Blame it on the grogginess. Tell me WHO can think straight at 4am in the morning? (Ain is an exception, of course, she's alien xD)
But no, I wouldn't blame anyone for my staying up late because it is entirely my fault I did not finish it sooner.
I am annoyed that some people are not pulling their weight though. It's horrible to be losing sleep doing something that was not supposed to be my job anyway.
They say WR is a group effort.
Maybe I really should let loose a little and entrust the Final draft to them.

I haven't exactly been very cheerful these days.
Blame it all on PMS.
And I was feeling particularly horrible yesterday.
Mainly, I was sick of myself and all the shit I have to smile my way through.

Yesterday, I treated Farah to dinner at Breeks!
Seriously, Ain, the beef lasagne was damn nice!

Mas and Farah both had this chicken-chop-with-a-fancy-name dish.
And in my opinion, it tasted burnt.
Mas was taking revenge on me.
She kept egging Farah to take the most expensive dishes!

It's a just punishment, actually. =)
I didn't realise that I'm a high-maintenance person.
I would not want to add up the bills of all the meals I have had this year.

We went shopping after that and I bought this Puma trackpants for like, $30!!
Amazing, I tell you.
It's like next to impossible to get proper trackpants for less than $50 and here's this Puma one glaring in my face.
HAD to have it. xD
We left the place at about 9 but some shops were already closed.
I hate it when I stay long enough to see shops pulling down their shutters.
It's depressing.

The Indo people are going back on Thursday.
Damn. I am going to miss them terribly.

I think the immersion programme had been very successful although, I believe, we had been less than efficient buddies.
If I could do it all over again, I would.
As one of the teachers had said earlier, going for immersion programmes change people. They have a different perception of life.
For me, I think, my perception of life is still the same.
But it was just fun, fun and more fun after we got throught the initial language difficulties.
Vanny gave me a little vase of flowers filled with edelweiss as a token of remembrance.
I find it so sweet that she actually bothered.
I am going to miss this little girl. =)
We went to watch fireworks just now.
It was packed even from Citilink.
It was totally crazy.
The fireworks were great. Beautiful.
The kind that makes your heart warm with awe kind of beautiful.
After that, Ain, Nana, Maria and I walked to Raffles Place.
Because City Hall was beyond crowded.
There is no word good enough to describe it. It was just scary.
And we took pictures with the 'sexy bridges'.
Don't you think that the Anderson Bridge near Raffles place just plain hot?
It's like a manly kind of sexy- with the strong bold base and everything seem so perfectly proportionate and calculated accurately. It just shouts of masculine perfection.
The other smaller bridge is even hotter.
It is a little arched. Just a little.
Arched enough to give it that sexy figure.
Totally reminds me of feminie beauty with its svelte figure and really, really sleek curves.
Damn. Both the bridges are just plain hot, ok?
Ain, there is absolutely no fighting with me on this.
I know Maria totally agrees with me. =D

It has been absolutely ages since I last updated.
I've been busy.
And I really can't be bothered to conscientiously record nitty-gritty details of my life.
I was involved in the Indonesian immersion programme, which made the past week really hectic.
But I still found time to be sick!
I think the barbecue by MLCS was really fun.
And the presence of the Indo people really made it more entertaining.
We didn't even need a radio!
Obviously, Syimah made a whole lot of noise.
(Why am I not surprised? xD )
Anyway, I really can't be bothered to write anymore.
Only, I'd like to make it official that I love Ain and Izeen to bits. =D
