As you can probably tell, I seldom blog when life's being perfectly balanced. Hahah. And I'm not, by nature, some violent crazed idiot. Mostly I just simmer and boil quietly, although I do love a confrontation or two.
Maaaaaybe, I don't want to make it a big deal but it hurts, a bit. I'm a little disappointed, of course, that things did not turn out as expected.
Not appreciated. Again.
It's crystal, at this point, the priorities in some people's lives and I know I shouldn't feel miffed, but I had hoped that maybe it had meant more. But I know, it was silly of me to think that spending three quarter of my already measly salary actually meant something.
Uh, yeah, it was nothing, it was just .. oh , about three hundred bucks.
No, it's okay, I still have a hundred to tide me over the whole month. Enough if I skip lunch and dinner everyday.
Of course.
And I should honestly stop caring.
Anyway, I played tennis with some friends 2 days back. It was only after feeling a dull ache in my wrist that I remembered what the tennis coach had once told me. About ... WOW... 3 years ago! That you're supposed to swing all the way through. And I remembered how I loved the "puckkk!" sound that came when the ball made contact with the racket.
I would have loved to say that it was a good game of tennis, but as anyone would have guessed, my racket-handling skills have come a long long long way as compared to 2 or 3 years ago. Hahah! However, I never said it was not enjoyable. Many funny lousy games of tennis.
We decided , then, that tennis was out. Since we were already such pros at it. (:
We will possibly be conquering wild wild wet next before P flies home. But then again, internship starts in 2 days. I doubt I will be physically capable to do anything more than juggle my 4 jobs.
But who knows? (:
They tell me I'm crazy. But I just feel that I really need to run away. From reality.
