Okay, so Mae, you're not stupid.
You're just random. x)
It seems people now have a habit of ignoring me.
I didn't know it became a national past-time overnight.
What happened to the world when I slept?
I'm losing touch with reality.
Harping on the negative makes the positive seem dull.
I'm trying to focus on the present.
The present, the future, and not the past.
Today was a very very very tiring day.
I woke up late for OP, and was really disappointed with myself.
But the rehearsal went well enough. So I'm happy.
I was freaking hungry after PW.
Well, waking up late=no breakfast.
Let's just say we went through a lot of very tough decision-making processes.
And somehow, thanks to Lyana's brilliance, ended up in Chinatown.
Yes, we were from school.
We made the others wait for their lunch.
Which was totally Lyana's aim. -.-'
It's her! Ain, it was her! Not me!
After we came back with their lunches, they said, they wanted to go to Jalan Sultan for some MLCS t-shirt thing.
As usual, it was funnnnnnnnnn! x)
I mean, seriously, put 6 funny monkeys together and you get a circus.
Basically, it was Me, Ain, Nana, Fil, Deen and Lyana.
And Deen couldn't stop gushing about how she loved the backlane, as we called it.
I'll post the emo pictures we took there some other day when I can get Ain to send me. :D
The rustic feeling of the place just makes us feel emo?
Heh.
We took quite sometime to decide where we wanted to go after that.
Which is really typical of us. :D
And we shopped around in Bugis before parting ways.
The rest went home while Lyana and I went to City Hall for god knows what.
I think my toes are crammed.
I've been walking too much.
And I've been seeing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much of Lyana. -.-
I'm turning slenge (blur) like her!
Damnit. x)
Tell me why I bother?
It's for days like these.
It's days like these that I live for.
(:
I love them all.
And bodoh, stop calling me Metapod. -.-'

Dear Blogger,
Thank you so much for not being a bitch today.
At last I'm able to publish!
I have absolutely no idea what happened.
It feels great to know that nothing's changed.
We are still just as we were, somehow.
We've changed in so many ways,
for the better, or otherwise.
But still, what we were, to each other, will always be.
Rollerblading was funnnnnnnnnnn. =D
I cannot emphasise the 'n' more.
Lina kept falling of course, but she still cannot beat Farhana's record.
And I was horrified that I can no longer do a decent parallel turn!
Damnit! I need more practice!
2 months of total slacking is not doing me any good.
It was reaaaallly sad that Bec couldn't come. It would've been more fun. x(
Whenever anyone mentions East Coast, or rollerblading,
it's these fond memories that flash into my mind.
The complains about sore feet and aching backs.
The constant exclamations of "Ehh! How did you do that??!!"
I will remember East Coast, and the fun we had =)
Even when I'm old and crinkly, I will.
XD
Oh and.. I WILL remember that Shirin skates like a girl!
Just like how she runs like a girl :D
Hehhh. She is a girl!
You know, this is reaaaaallly rare.
But I'm going to thank Mae for his supid randomness.
And yes, I think it's odd to be calling him Mae, but Ben is just odd.
At least stupid random things make me forget about stupid depressing thoughts.
HOHO! I actually mentioned stupid mae in a BLOG ENTRY!

Something is really wrong with this thing..
I can't post pictures!
CHRISTINE! HELPPPP!!
I actually posted 3 times.
No, make that 4.
And I'm really tired of trying.
And exhausted physically too.
I only ran 1.6 km but it felt like 16 km.
Of course, most of my energy was gone gritting my teeth, trying to forget the pain in my knee.
My sister asked, "Why do you want to run if you know it's going to hurt?"
I replied, "Because I'm stubborn! It doesn't hurt now, so I'm trying to remind myself how painful it is so I won't entertain such silly notions anymore in the future!"
Heh.
But I know, once the pain is gone, I'll forget about it again.
And I'd have to go through another torture session to remind myself.
So supposedly, I've to undergo surgery around december.
To get myself a better knee.
-.-
Who are they kidding???
So then, after running, I did 10 laps in the pool.
And by that time, the sun was gone.
I cannot decide whether that's good or bad.
Good because I'm not burnt? or bad because I'm not burnt?
I will be aching tomorrow.
But I'm going rollerblading.
Heck, I decided to die when I made the decision this afternoon.
So die, I will.
Well, tomorrow will be funnnnnnn.
Ohh. The blades will make it fun, of course.
I haven't skated for AGES.
Will be interesting teaching Bec to skate. X)
Eheheh. I'm being mean, eh?
East Coast, here I come!
>11:06 PM
I've decided to post random pictures today.
(:
Five ladies were waiting at Paya Lebar MRT Station. Singapore's transport system seemed particularly inefficient on that night.

And this is what happens when 2 of them got bored.

They should have had enough of their own pictures. Seeing that they just took these that particular afternoon.

Well at least, they're not as obsessed as this certain cleaner in school. Who even takes a picture while she's supposed to be working!

Okay, wait. They ARE obsessed.

They even took pictures in the MRT!

Anyway, I've run out of brain juice to continue the story.
And so. It's just pictures from now on.

I'm supposed to re-edit this.. But my ass is feeling a little heavy.
Journalism People!
Here's the pres, Loga!

Asst. Editor Print, Sheri!

PRO, Izeen! (and also, my mum)

IT mistress, Christine! (who happens to be my corruptor as well)

And the Asst. Editor Print, Khadija!

(All pictures are the ones found on the Journalism board. Eheheheh.)

Watch out, SMAN71! I am coming to town! XD

Have you seen this before? HAhahahah

So that's enough for today, I think. =)
And damn, I'm tired.

I'll tell you a secret.
Psst!
[My sister is the bitchiest bitch in the whole entire universe.]
Now, I've got that off my chest, I'll go on to explain the rationale of that statement.
(Sounds rather PW Op-ish, eh?)
She is absolutely the worst person to go shopping with.
Especially when she doesn't need anything in particular.
She's just self-centred, really.
She'll be like, sneering, and asking, "what do you need that for?"
Like hell, tell me this, why do people bother buying clothes?
-.-
She'll just shrug, and say something like, I'm not making sense,
or like, it's so crap to be buying anything at all.
I ask for her opinion, she'll just give me a sneer.
Or better still, she'll just ignore totally what I said.
Ah well. Some people are just not born to listen.
Seriously, sometimes, Izeen seems like an angel when I compare Izeen with her.
First of all, she is younger that I am.
But of course, she treats me like shit.
And there are times when I really cannot tolerate it anymore.
Like, now, for example.
Plus, Izeen is just really mean to guys and stupid people.
And probably a little bit too vulgar.
Maybe because I've never been at the brunt of her bitchy attack.
While she is just...
I don't know.
She calls me stupid on a daily basis until I'm almost believing her.
And to think that I got scolded some years ago for calling her stupid.
Well.
The point in living is to serve people?
I'm thinking about it.
I'd rather serve people in general.
Not just her.
I am the slave of no one, but God.
---------------------------------------------------
Okay, this entry was written on impulse,
and without clear logical thinking.
Which is very unlike me, I would admit.
Too bad. The words are already written.
And none save me (or blogger) can erase them.
I'd like to be mean for once, even if I can never be mean to her.

We had lunch at Swensen's just now.
Where I finally had that apple crumble.
Now, I can't irritate Ain anymore. =)
While I was ordering, Ya and Ha seemed to find their nails very interesting.
Both were staring intently at them.
All the while was the manager was taking my order.
When he left....
They started giggling like little girls.
And gushed, "Oh my god, he's so hot!"
Well yes, no denying that.
I would've been reduced to a blabbering idiot while I was ordering and staring straight at him, if I was less sane, like them.
I have never been more grateful of my ability to keep cool in difficult situations. x)
And this is no less difficult, I assure you.
We gossiped, as usual.
And comtemplated the fact that we go out with each other more than we do with our own friends.
And attributed this fact to our mothers, and the numerous questions posed whenever one goes out with friends.
Really, like, "Who are you going out with? Where? What time will you come back? What for? Why so late?"
The endless questions in life. (:
Yes. Going out with each other = less questions asked.
We decided not to watch a movie.
Somehow, Bugis was showing none of the movies we wanted to watch.
We went shopping instead.
I bought a blazer from Dorothy Perkins!
It's black.. not exactly the colour I was looking for.
But it was on sale, and 50% off, too. =D
And Ha bought a top in this reaaally nice shade of blue.
Too bad Ya didn't want it.
I was offering to pay. -.-
I saw Abby while they were scribbling with an electronic pen on the neoprints we just took.
(They called it decorating???)
She took a while to recognize me, even when I stood squarely in front of her.
So, was she walking about in a daze or have I changed beyond recognition?
I figure, it's a little of both.
Plus the fact that I haven't seen her for about 8 months?
I just about thawed when I wrote this post.
Because, just now, on the 2 bus home, we were really frozen solid.
And yes, there is winter in Singapore, only, just on Number 2 buses.
What is up with the air conditioners nowadays?
They're taking revenge by freezing people to death?
I am in war with the aircon in the school library and in LT4.
This is, literally, a cold war.
XD

Throughout the year, I think I have never laughed or joked as much as I did just now.
Although the day started off badly, thanks to promotion results, the cold, freezing, (and slippery) storm boosted my spirits.
And yes, somehow, I was in a high.
No idea why.
After going for / buying everyone's lunch, Lyana and I suddenly became high.
It's an inexplicable phenomenon.
My jaws seemed like they were permanently locked in a smile.
Was scary. x)
And thennn... much later, Ain caught on..
No wait, Ain is always crazy when she's tired.
We went to J8 and did a lot of lame things.
Izeen kept saying she didn't know us!
Damn. We must have reaaaaally embarassed mum, eh ain? =)
We separated rather early, though.
And Lyana and I went to tampines to have dinner.
When, on the way there, in the train, she accidentally insulted an old man, while trying to insult me.
So typical of her. =)
Okay, I have come to a conclusion that Lyana is seriously crazy.
Like, really, seriously!
So well.
The day turned out great.
I'm happy. And still laughing. XD
>9:48 PM
"If not for French, you would have died..."
That was what he said when he handed me the results slip.
And yes, I think thats true too.
I would have died if I had taken econs like the rest of them.
Anyway, I know what my problem is.
And I need only find solutions to rectify them.
A levels next.
I can do this.
I know I can.

There's something about this day that turns the best of us into bitches.
Yes, the fatigue, the dirty dishes, the endless socializing.
But then again, this day comes only once a year.
So let's put the bitchiness aside for a day, why don't we?
I don't have to pretend that I don't know.
But I'd have to pretend to be indifferent.
Wait a minute, I am indifferent.
Ah well.
Nothing's changed.
Yes, pile up the insecurities while you're at it.
I have a whole list of negative adjectives to describe me now.
Come on, I can always do with more.
Bring it on.
Sorry for the horribly depressing post.
But I shall not spread this ill-feel
And even the day looks so much brighter; the haze has let off for a while.
For a while, I said.
So let's drink and be merry.
As I said, this day comes only once. :D
Selamat Hari Raya, Everyone!

I shouldn't have watched Schindler's List.
Damn damn damn damn.
How stupid of me.
I should have known better.
War, somehow, strikes a chord in my heart.
A loud, horribly clashing chord.
Especially the Holocaust.
I believe that nobody, absolutely no one has any right over another.
The fact that history may repeat itself at any moment, just scares me.
Thinking about it, makes me feel drained, empty and cold.
Odd, yes, and I'm not even exaggerating.

I was half-asleep in the bus, drifting away on fluffy white clouds and thinking of pots of gold at the end of rainbows.
When suddenly, I saw him speed past.
I was jolted awake.
There goes my darling...
The love of my life that I haven't seen for months...
And will probably never see again...
Well. uh. He's one more reason for me to work hard.
My darling Ferrari.
I'd probably dump him for Lamborghini if I ever set my eyes on him in Singapore but then again, there's only about 1 of him here.
Well then, that's too bad.
With Ferrari, my heart will stay.
I think I'm really proud of myself.
And pride comes rarely to me, even when beckoned forth.
I just, don't want to be fooled.
I don't want my trust to be broken. Not again.
I took too much time to build it; to let go, to trust.
It can all go to waste with one small mis-step by anyone at all.
My trust is not nearly strong enough yet.
Let's hold it together.
I do hope we'll do great for OP rehearsal tomorrow.
I'm not just saying we'll do okay.
I want us to do GREAT, like, FABULOUS.
We'll need lots and lots and lots of sugar.
So we'll be as high as the sky.
Wish us luck. x)

If all goes well, I will be promoted.
That is, if my overall marks for math and GP cut the mark.
And they should too.
I passed the bare minimum of 2 H2s and 1H1.
Which I think was very very very risky.
But yeah, these were the subjects I was banking on.
Math, French and GP.
To be dreadfully honest to myself, though, GP was a huge, utterly horrifying disappointment.
I thought I could have done well.
Apparently, I still don't know the difference between description and argument.
Ah well. I will, eventually.
I think I did really well for French with a B.
Hahah! I am so freaking proud of myself. =)
Although, of course, I know I lost 5 marks for nothing and that I could have done better for my redaction.
Seriously, my grammaire was horrigible. x)
Oh well.
At least, I can welcome next year with a sigh of relief.

Okay.
Maybe I feel just a little guilty for snapping at all the people I snapped at yesterday.
Not much.
Just a little. =)
So finally, we can close the chapter on the torture that calls itself the Written Report.
Such an innocuous name for something so evil.
Hah. I wasn't fooled, of course.
But still, what matters is that now it's over.
I'm proud of myself for having done so.
It's a big deal for me to trust people.
I'm just glad I finally learnt how to let go before I worked myself to death.
And that some people are just how they are and I have no right to hate them for being themselves.
In fact, I should actually admire them for having stood their own.
God only knows, how I lack the courage to do so.

Whatever.
Maybe I just feel like being mean today.
I feel PMS looming over me like an unwanted shadow.
And I mean it when I say I don't want to talk about it.
>10:36 PM
My grandmother thinks I'm lazy.
My mother thinks I'm heartless.
My younger sister thinks I'm fat.
An acquaintance thinks I'm stupid.
My younger cousins think I'm annoying.
My aunt thinks I'm picky.
My elder sister thinks I'm a freak.
My classmates think I'm anti-social.
My friends think I'm an airhead.
My teachers think I'm quiet.
My close friends think I talk too much.
My piano teacher thinks I'm problematic.
My cousin thinks I'm perfect.
So you think you know me by what people think of me?
Maybe if you stop judging me, you just might get to know who I really am.

Damn, Ain, you had to. Hahah. Ah well, this could add some 'fun' in my dreary life. XD
1) Single, taken or crushing?
Single. A relationship's not my priority at this point of time.
2) Are you happy with your life now?
I'm always happy with life. In fact, happy to be alive. But then again, happy does not necessarily mean contented.
3) When you meet the right person, do you fall in love with him fast?
How would I know it's the right person? That's a more important question, I think.
4) Have you ever been heartbroken?
Many many many times. Uhm, not the relationship kind of heartbroken, get what I mean?
5) Do you believe that there are some circumstances, where cheating love is acceptable?
Under NO circumstances should cheating love be acceptable. It's just stupid.
6) Would you take someone back even if he cheats on you?
Knowing me, I probably will. But then again, my friends, (Yes, Izeen, I mean YOU) will make sure that I won't
7) Have you ever talked about marriage to someone else before?
I've talked about marriage a gazillion times to so many people. XD
8) Do you want children?
Maybe?
9) How many?
If I do have kids, I want 2, a boy and a girl. XD
10) Would you ever consider adoption?
Maaaayyybe? I'd love to adopt Jemma Lee Khalil. Ahahaha XD
11) If someone likes you now, what do you think is the best way for him to let you know his feelings?
Just showing that he cares. I'll get freaked out if he tells me to my face. I'd advice him to take it slow cos any other way would just freak me out.
12) Do you enjoy getting into relationships?
I am highly inexperienced in this matter. So, no comments.
13) Do you believe in love at first sight?
No. That's just superficial, on-the-surface kind of love. Heck, that's not even love!
14) Do you believe you can change someone?
Maybe I can? But why the hell would I want to? People should change out of their own accord.
15) If you could get married somewhere, where would it be?
Uhm. A hotel! Fullerton sounds nice. =) And then, he'd have to buy a house in France so I can migrate there. =) Oh yeah, he's got to be a rich French, duh.
16) Do you give in easily when you are fighting?
Depends a lot on my mood and what we're fighting about. I don't have a problem with admitting my mistake.
17) Do you have feelings for someone right now?
Maybe? x)
18) Do you ever wished that you could have had someone but you messed it up?
More like I don't want to mess it up? Uhh but no, I've never wished that.
19) Have you ever broken a heart?
I don't know. I don't remember. I may have. Oh yeah. Wait, I HAVE! A long long long time ago. Feel sorry for him, but it was just the wrong time, you know? =)
20) If one day your best friend falls in love with the guy you are deeply in love with, what would you do?
Uhhhhhh... I'd probably be really really disappointed but then again, it does not necessarily mean that he's in love with her, right? Ahahahah.
21) Are you missing anyone right now?
Yeah. What the hell happened to Mas? -.-'
22) Now you have to ask 5 of your friends to do this survey in their blogs. Write down their names in the list below:
Damn, Ain listed almost everyone already..
Uhm, I won't force anyone. If you're a bored soul looking for some lame thing to do, then DO THIS SURVEY! XD

There is a reason why I hate being a girl.
My future husband better like washing dishes or he's going to see dirty dishes flying at him after dinner everyday.
Give me a paint brush, I'll gladly paint the house.
Give me a toilet brush, I'll gladly scrub the toilet bowl.
Give me a broom, I'll gladly sweep the floor.
But give me dirty dishes, you'll see then flying to your head.
I never agreed with society's expectation of women.
We're increasingly expected to be what a man can be and yet so much more.
I'm sorry, but I have yet to see a man washing the dishes.
I'm sorry if my ways do not conform.
I'm sorry if I sound biased to you.
That's just too bad.
But I am not sorry for being a non-comforming feminist.

blind indifference. says:
I see, and how old might you be, Mr I-invented-castles?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
14?
blind indifference. says:
That's a tad too young, don't you think?
blind indifference. says:
Don't lie, now.. I bet your really 140
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Nah.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
14, through and through.
blind indifference. says:
But castles are at least 50 years old!
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Much more than that. I should know.
blind indifference. says:
As I said, AT LEAST.
blind indifference. says:
So then, how can you be inventing castles when you weren't even born then?!
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I don't see the problem there.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I invented castles. So what if I'm younger than the oldest?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I invented inventing too.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Last week. It was rainy.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I was bored.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
And so I did.
blind indifference. says:
I see.
blind indifference. says:
And how exactly did the idea hit you ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I decided to invent inventing.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
And so I did.
blind indifference. says:
Ohh, now that's interesting.
blind indifference. says:
What else have you invented ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Crossbows.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
And handphones.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
At the same time.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I only published my findings on crossbows later.
blind indifference. says:
Ohhhh. That's fantastic!
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Other people had been working towards handphones too, you see. I had to beat them to the
punch! And I did.
blind indifference. says:
Wow!
blind indifference. says:
What model of handphone did you come up with?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
The F4200.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
It was a hybrid, really.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
A jet/handphone.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
A work of genius.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I might even go as far as saying it was my best work.
blind indifference. says:
So what else have you invented other than inventing, handphones, castles.. ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Eyes.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Those were tricky.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
They kept popping!
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
But I found out how to put a stop to that!
blind indifference. says:
How?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Promise you won't tell anyone, its a secret, you know.
blind indifference. says:
Uh-huh. okay =)
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
First of all, you have to soak the empty eye-skin in a soup made from a secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Then you use a matter-transmission device to fill it up with fluid.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Then you wrap it firmly with duct tape.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Paint it white, and add the eye colour for the iris.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Aaaand... done!~
blind indifference. says:
Now THAT is definitely insightful.
blind indifference. says:
Do you have any advice to give to aspiring inventors who wish to be just like you ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Yeah.
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Kill your relatives, pretend you had nothing to do with it, and when they're cremated, the most important thing falls to you....
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Grind up their ashes in weed and smoke the combination. The collective intellect of your ancestors will pour through you and give you AMAZING insights into the world!
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
At least, it did for me!
blind indifference. says:
I see. Surely, it would have been difficult for you to cope without the support of your family ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Nope. In fact, I was never alone! I had them whispering in my head all this time since! Of course, I'm not exactly sure what they say, but it does sound rather comforting, especially on lonely nights...
blind indifference. says:
I see. You must have gotten much motivation and support from them, then, through the whisperings?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
I don't exactly pay attention to what they say, but the familiar voices DO get me through!
blind indifference. says:
Now that sure is new to me. So, have you got any final words to say ?
Apocalypse Equation - Religious Certainty says:
Never. Trust. The. PAP.
blind indifference. says:
Okay. Thank you very much for all the insightful info that you have given us today.
blind indifference. says:
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for MR I-INVENTED-CASTLES!
I'm sorry.
I seem to have too many lameass friends. =)
Stupid Mae. -.-
