today is a monday.
the second day of cny.
she's not feeling so good today, down with flu, or cold. whatever.
woke up at 8 and couldnt get back to sleep.
and so, she switched on the computer and started to do her homework.
halfway through that, she thought, 'maybe im gonna check on ro awhile, see if wind's onine'
oh well, no, she was not. but jeneve was online. and so she said hi.
she was only talking to jeneve and NOT, i repeat, NOT playing the game.
but her mum popped her head into the room and saw the screen.
without actually seeing anything, she said, ' ur too much already. do u know that you're addicted to the game? this is already addiction!'
the girl thought. 'what the hell?!'
okok, so maybe the sequence of events are not exactly in running order.
but basically, it resulted in the girl being banned from ro for god knows how long.
and the main reasons were, she did not do housework, she happened to feel like talking to jeneve and she happened to be the first one up today.
she really doesnt understand sometimes,
does being the first up means that she has to do every single house work there is?
it certainly seems like her mum is making it so.
isnt it good that at least one daughter wakes up early?
oh well, adults can be so difficult to understand.
you can probably sense from the tone.
the girl is not really angry anymore.
dont think it comes from the fact that the girl hasnt eaten in more than 15hours
neither is it because she is sick.
hmm, well, that's just typically her.
cant seem to stay angry for long.
but then again, is withdrawn a sign of anger?
okok. menopausal adults are not so easy to understand.
and neither are pmsing teenage girls.
oh well. that makes the situation twice as hard.
gaahh. ><

life.
she doesn't seem to have any complains for life at the moment.
taking things in her own stride.
life still good to her.
if only.
she hasn't been updating a lot.
laziness screaming out in capital latters.
gah, she doesn't understand anymore;
whats the use of updating?
not like anyone is gonna care what happens in HER life?
they got their own lives to manage
losing the purpose of a blog.
she just found out something last weekend.
bad news, yeah. really.
about a month ago, she went for an xray.
to check on her ankle and her knee thats been giving her pain on and off
the ankle hurts quite badly sometimes. and the knee, is just, well, the pain is always there.
but it doesnt hurt bad. she can still run.. or so she thought.
anyway, she entered the doctor's room.
''how's your knee feeling?'' he asked. she ponders for awhile, 'her knee?! it's her ankle that's throbbing!' she told him, it was ok.
he whipped out the xray results. and said, "u see this layer of blankness? thats not actually air. thats your ligament. and u see this part here? the bones are touching each other. meaning, ur ligament at this part are nearly gone."
'GASP!'
the doctor continues "this is actually quite serious, and if you dont take care, it can lead to early arthritis. u see the old people with knee pains? yeah, u could be like that, only you'll be about a quarter of their age." she was thinking, 'this... is... scaring me....'
he continues again(u know how doctors like to monologue) "but if you dont strain it too much, and let it heal properly, this could be avoided"
thought racing through her head 'when is it too much?' 'oh no, she'll have to give up tennis!' 'no running at all?' 'what does he mean??'
as the doctor continued monologuing, she sat there pondering.' how does she tell her mother all this? she'll definitely get a long long lecture' next thing, she knew, she was out of the doctor's room, holding a slip of prescription.
'gaahh, vitaxicam again? just how many tubes are they planning to give her?? she already has 4 at home'
and now.... she is banned from going out to play tennis, or badminton, or running, and also, no basketball! this is hell for her.
truly hell.
she knows, she cant run too much. she ran about 14 rounds for pe and training the other day, and nearly collapsed. her knee ached.
but really, the only thing she can do, apparently, is swim.
hell, she's even banned from buying a tennis racket! even though she's paying for it herself!
gahh. sad life she leads. she shall turn fat and flabby. -.-

as usual, she is confused. confuzzled, in shirlyn's terms.
did she or did she not make a good decision in going to ny?
so far, ny.. is... good enough for her.
but when ppl ask, ' why u choose ny?!'
sometimes, she really doesnt know how to answer.
not many ppl would understand that it was impulse.
the truth was, before coming to ny, she knew nuts about the school.
and that is probably another reason why she chose the school.
tomorrow, lesson starts properly.
goodluck to the girl

years have passed since her last entry.
the girl is no longer in her old school.
she has entered a junior college now, for the three months course.
and she has also tuned seventeen.
sweet sweet seventeen. right.
her thoughts on her new jc:
- it's not that bad
- her orientation group rocks
- her house rocks
- scary when it comes to studies: to be honest, she cant really qualify for any science subject. yes, her results are horrible. terribly horrible.
- its damn far for her. really, waking up at 5 every morning is NOT a good way to start one's day
- damnit, they dont have a girls' tennis team
- squash, here she comes!
- right now, all she can think about is sleep, though.
let tomorrow bring what tomorrow will.
